And if anyone does buy it, it's because they were too lazy to do their research first, so they deserve it.

I think that a seller has a right to ask however much for a vehicle that he wishes. If you think its out of line, don't buy it

thats more then double what i payed for my 93 na. and i really dont think hes gettin 30 mpg. way too much IMO.

im lucky if i get around 20 mpg with mostly all highway miles. is there anything i could do to help that out?

We are sort of getting off topic here.

The best things you can do is a tuneup, alignment, and tire pressure. Ignition components, clean injectors, fresh oil, alignment, tire pressure, transmission oil, ignition timing inspection.

I get 34 mpg out of my MR2 Turbo. I have an EMS that I carefully mapped with a lean-burn setup. That will gain you tons of mileage as well!

Yet another reason to go EMS.

That's fine, there's already been a thread that complained about what the seller is asking for his car. I think the best option would be just don't buy it if you don't agree

He has all the right in the world to price the car at what ever he wants, but I believe most people will think he's asking way too much.

Like others said, he can ask what he wants and if somebody will buy it then that is what it's worth. You have to remember also in the northern states a good condition MR2 is a lot more rare. You don't see many of them, in PA I have seena total of 4 other MKII MR2s in the last 9-10 years.

So if somebody wants one and wont travel out of state they will either have to pay it or look for another comparable car for the same price.

wow that is a rediculous price. if the mileage was 10k i would see that as a possible good buy, but 152k is rediculous.

he is probably fishing for a sucker, and i guess we shouldnt bash him because chances are, he will find one.

lol i could sell that here in north dakota garunteed. i've seen two mk1's. total in the whole state. never ever ever ever seen an mk2 in ND. never have seen an mr-s either. if anybody owns an mk2 and live in ND lemme know.
