Horn

My horn seems to be jacked up... I have to hit the horn spot on the steering wheel all over to find it firsat of all, and second of all, it doesnt work all the time. For example, one day i can press the center of the horn, and it may beep, but if i remove my hand, and press again, it might not work. The next day, i press the center and again nothing, however if i press the bottom of the horn, it beeps, anyone got any idea why, and how to fix it?

Airbag I assume...

Unhook battery first, then remove steering wheel shaft cowling.

Unbolt steering wheel(bolts on back)

Check behind for metal to metal contact, make sure contacts are clean.

Check "search" feature on this site for more detailed info.

Be EXTREMELY careful messing with the steering wheel. The airbag can be very dangerous to work with, they tend to go boom if provoked. Make sure you read the manual.

Re: Horn

And leave it alone for at least 20 minutes so any remaining charge can drain.
