No power when cold.

Not that it's a problem... I don't gun it everywhere when the motor is cold, however, the motor does act strange when cold.

The original motor was a 93 w/o a CSI, and the motor that's in there now is a 94 w/o CSI, so that's not the issue.

But when the motor is cold, and I add some gas, there is a noticible lack of power. Like, an incredible lag, and the revs will climb slowly, but not roughly, to about 4,000 RPMs where it will finaly break free and drive normaly.

Do you think maybe my throtle cables or throtle body valve is sticking? Or is it something else? Once the car warms up it's not a problem.

Are you perhaps missing on one or more cylinders? I've driven vehicles before that had issues with the injectors not working properly when they were cold.

As I said, I don't thrash on the car when it's cold. But regardless the problem exists.

And I also don't think it's that big of a deal, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

maybe thats just how all 5sfe's are, just like you jumping out of bed to a buzzing alarm clock and istnantly running a marathon, you will lag a little unless youve gotten the time to get yourself ready

Probably 5K miles ago. When I put this motor in.

Everything's new(ish) except one of the wires because the one that was new broke a connector during the install so I had to use a slightly older one.
