Grounding Systems
Has anyone installed a grounding system in their M2? I wanna purchase one, but don't they normally run from the battery for the ground and then to the engine? If so, the damn battery's up front unlike most cars. I see them advertised for the M2, but always in a grouping of other cars and I don't think this is taken into consideration.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll post dino's of my header and exhaust gains later this week. |

One thing I have to do before I run my MR2 again this year is to check all my grounds. I have made my own for the engine block already and will probably just do the same for the rest.

honestly, its cheaper to make your own. Go and get some thick speaker wire and terminals.

I build stereos...not motors. I leave that to the pro's. Plus I don't want something that looks like I built it. Nothing bad about yours...jsut saying ya know.

only 1 of my engine grounds is even visable.. the rest are tucked around the motor, or in the frunk. they all do absolutely nothing, its just extra protection.

Similar question...
While driving, my gauge light goes out randomly at night. I can't find out why it does it when it does, it just goes out when it wants to. Sometimes smacking the dash brings it back on, or going over a bump, and other times it wont come back on for awhile. It doesn't happen a lot, but enough to piss me off. The needle for the batter gauge bounces too during this. It doesn't bounce a whole lot, but noticable. Could bad grounds be causing this? |

Bad grounds can cause all kinds of crazy ****! Seriously don't ask questions, just test/ replace your grounds and see if your stuff is fixed, it needs to be done anyhow.
My headlights used to shut off by themselves every now and then before I fixed my grounds. |
