need help with wire
i was having major problems with my car after putting the engine back in. i would hook up the battery and the engine would jump, and the fuel pump would stay on without the key in the car.
i figured out i had a wire on the alternator that wasnt suposed to be there. i took it off and all the problems stopped. now i dont know where it goes to and thats where i need your help. the wire comes out of the harness with the alternator wiring and the little vacuum sesor thing wiring. i took some pics, they kinda suck because i had to use my phone. this is a close up of the wire, the grey thing that looks like its coming off the side isnt part of it. its just 2 wires that are crimped onto a metal tab with a hole in it for a bolt ![]() this is the wire held up by the vacuum sensor thing ![]() this is the plug held up by the alternator, it is not the wire that hooks to the alternator for sure. ![]() thanks for your help, its been 4 months since ive drove it and i cant wait. |
