"Creaking" noise under power.
Okay, so I think I've narrowed it down to having to be my clutch, but any other suggestions/opinions would be welcome.
Basicaly, what it is, is any time, in gear, when I apply power or get off power, there's a strange creaking noise. Reving does not reproduce the noise, and I can hear it clearly coming from the left side of the car, but since I have to be moving to ID the sound, haven't narrowed it down any further. It MIGHT be my suspension, but when I push/pull on it when the car is stoped I can't reproduce the noise. I've taken the wheel off and made sure the hub nut was tight and then retorqued all the lugs just to be sure. Any other suggestions? THe clutch feels just as lively as the day I got it. The pedal is stiff, the car does what I tell it to, and aside from the noise there is no noticble difference in performance... just want to make sure this won't turn into something more. |

could be the suspension bushing like you mentioned, i know that when i twist the body it creaks pretty bad, you said that it doesnt happen unless youre accel/decell though, so im not sure, it could be a motor mount or something as simple as that
