High Idle, need help

I have been looking through this site and haven't found much so I was wondering if someone could help me. I just finished a 100% rebuild with the 5S motor and adjusted the timing and everything is set to stock settings. It is idling pretty high. Is their something that I am missing or is there a sensor that is bad? It is idle at 1250 and it used to be about 750. Any suggestions? I did the trouble shooting with the BGB and still nothing. Maybe you guys have more experience with this.

An air leak will cause this. There are techniques for finding air leaks. I suggest you try that first.

If you are CERTAIN you have no leaks, then your IAC valve might be malfunctioning, or perhaps the circuit to/from the IAC valve and the ECU.

By this do you mean a vaccum leak? Or a seal leak like where the throttle body meets the manifold? I need to get a hold to a volt/ohm meter. BGB says to check the TPS. Time to make a trip to the store.

Yes, I mean a vacuum leak, which technically includes the throttle body to manifold seal.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor. Think of it as a volume knob attached to your throttle body that tells the ECU where your throttle is at any point in time.
