x2 how many people do you think believe most of what they read? Id bet quite a few, All Im saying is regardless of the harmonic balancer issue i agree with luni, its like the snap oversteer thing, It was spawned and then believed until someone put it to rest. There are alot of sheep on the internet.

Ok,... I see this thread got dug up somehow. I need to leave OT more

Ok, the pulley worked as long as the car was drivable. It was a while. Don't know exactly. Long enough to kill this stupid myth about it causing the crankshaft to break. If I had another harmonic balancer go out on me. I would pick up a UR pulley if one was made for the vehicle I was currently driving.

Cool... glad this was dug-up from the grave. I was thinking about getting one too. Until I heard all the negative about it.

Shimric... how hard was it to install? Did you notice any difference in the engine at all. Not just HP or response... but, vibration or noise?

Deathly. I wouldn't do it again if I had the option. MR2's suck.

I know it didn't maky any difference. It was just smarter to spend 200 on a UR pulley opposed to 300+ for the stock one from the stealership.
