Source Interlink kills Sport Compact Car, laying off 115 employees - Autoblog
granted I stopped reading it, but back in the day of Dave Coleman and Josh Jacquot, i was reading every issue. SAD day, no more Ultimate Street Car Contest!?!?!?!? cman, what other event has a V8 powered MR2 kicking ass (even in the fuel consumption catagory) and who can forget the twin-engine tiburon burnout?!??!?!? that was fackin epic! |

when was there a V8 mr2? i remember bedells yellow V6....
good thing i didnt renew my subscription a few months ago when they were sending me notices. then again, most of the articles in that could also be found in motor trend. same EXACT articles, minus the couple "tuner" cars that were in there. |

Wow. I don't read it anymore, but I always used to read it. Dave Coleman had some interesting stuff. He had a lot of good, useful tech and math back in the day.
Maybe if they didn't get rid of all the good writers, they would of still had readers. |

![]() You're right though, they were thick and packed with info back in the day. The SCC that closed up shop now was not the SCC of yesteryear. |

i now wish i wouldnt have sold mine, only for the box to get busted open at the post office. i had a bunch of good issues go out to someone that paid good money for them, only to get distributed to the workers at the P.O., or get tossed in the trash.

SCC was a ricer magazine. It hasn't been well-written or laden with good articles in years.
