i never said that you said it hasn't. But i think it would be alittle more expensive and more of a hassle then just putting in better fans and better ventilation.

The best option is to buy your 360 from Best Buy and get their Product Replacement Plan for $40. I hate Best Buy for the most part, but I bought the PRP with my first 360 (knowing it would die) and, when it did, I simply took the old 360 to Best Buy, presented my PRP receipt, and walked out the door 5 minutes later with a brand-new 360 and an upgraded hard drive. No more ****ing around with the morons at Microsoft.

yeah alot of the bs thats at bb is lame. some of those plans can be worth it though if you take advantage of them. they count on people buyin the plan and just forgetting about them

no problems with my PS3 here, but a coworker has had his 360 repaired 6 times since january. it probably would be even more if he hadnt let it sit in a box for 2 months after it RROD'd.

I find it funny for all the years I've had my super nintendo, N64, gamecube, wii, PS1, PS1 portable, PS2, PSP, And now PS3, not a single one has ever failed. Yet a few months after my cousins got their 360 they get the RROD.

Microsoft sucks at quality.

actually my PS3 is about to break. Ive owned it about 2 years now and it overheats because of the GPU and CPU heating too fast, causing it to freeze. its only when i play games but when i play demos it doesnt freeze, probably because the disk drive isnt running while i play demos since they are on the HDD. my PS3 fights to keep going lol.

dude i LOVE Best Buy! I did the same thing, walked out of there with a brand new xbox, AND the cashier lady was like "oh, you bought this at X cost, and it is not on sale for Y cost"

I dont remember what X and Y were, but I ended up getting like 60 dollar credit for no reason other than they marked the price down.

Best buy is the biggest electronics rip off store on Earth. Those mother ****ers were selling a evga 9400gt for 139 dollars like 6 months ago.

And to top if off, my 3 year RROD death warranty ends Janurary 10th 2010.

Piece of advice, don't register your 360 until it RROD on you.
