I'm guessing his evo might be OBDII (or whatever the onboard diagnostics is called where you live).

Here's what you do:
Find his oxygen sensor and unplug it.
Re-pin two of the wires into different location, one must be the signal wire.
Plug it back in.

Should take less than 5 minutes and you can do it without setting off a car alarm. His car will still run and he'll have a fantastic time tracking down the problem. And, if he has to deal with emissions testing... good times.

oh my god! back when i had my blackberry, it did this THREE TIMES WTF!!!!!!!!

This is not the cell phone problem, but sorta close. At work we have to dial a 9 to make outside calls and the extension for operations is 1111. Many idiots in our place who don't get that 9 is for outside calls only, keep dialing a 9 before calling operations, so we have cops at our building on a daily basis because they attempt to dial 91111.

We got warning emails and all, but people still do it...morons.

If he has traffic cameras where he is at then, Bingo!! no license required...If I were to do that I would locate every photo enforced speed limit and make a few top speed passes (if there was no traffic of course). You have to at least break the speed limit by 20 mph

Just wear a ski mask if you guys have license plates at front and back that way if they do try to take a face shot they can't tell!! Lol
