I've seen them go between 180-300. I thought about getting one, and still do, but I might just wait until I'm ready to upgrade the interior.

These wheels were available back in '90.

Ok, I've only ever seen them advertised as late 90's parts. My mistake

You guys need to be more specific. "JDM steering wheel" is a whole host of wheels. First you have the non-airbag ones, then you have the ones with airbags which were one type from 90-93, then another type from 94-97 and then yet another type from 98-99.
The three point red stitched kind is the 98-99 style. And if you were selling just the wheel itself I wouldn't pay more than 50 bucks as you can get these off of US market Corolla S models. Now if you were selling it with an airbag (the proper one like the 98-99 MR2 had, not the perforated leather style seen in the US post 2000) then I'd say you'd be in the 150-200 range. The airbag can also be sourced domestically from 98-99 Rav4s and 98-99 Celicas. |

the 98+ wheels are retarded expensive, but the early gen 1, 3 spoke ones are pretty cheap.

^ I haven't looked too much into them. I hate looking at wheels on the yahoo auctions Japan because 90% of the time, they are selling them in sets of 2, not 4. Not sure why this is.
That, and i think shipping them would be outrageous. If you find a set though, ill hold on to them until i move back to the states in November and all you will have to do is pay shipping from Oregon to wherever, not Japan to the states. |
