Price Check: RHD Swap

I understand RHD would be desirable to some in the USA. What would a fair price for a right hand drive swap be ?

Parts included would be those needed in the RHD swap, from the firewall (including needed components from the trunk), wipers, and parts forward of the ashtray. Would also include steering components and rack as needed for RHD.

No Carpet, seats, door panels (correct door panel switch clusters for RHD inclued).

Post price less shipping costs.

I've heard of front clips selling for $1500 minus shipping. I bought my JDM front clip (dash firewall forward) for $450 bucks shipped from Georgia to utah.

most likely it's a cut off from the dash which has most of what you need. id like to do this to a gt4 (rhd to lhd)when i get the time but i wonder if it's bolt on like it is for the mr2

It's not exactly bolt-on on the MR2 either

yeah, i didn't get any of the RHD components. Now that i think about it, it wasn't from the firewall, it was from the strut towers which is exactly what I needed.

Sort of thinking the $1000 range. Does anyone know anyone who would be interested at this price?

How much can you get a rolling chassis (MKII) for in Canada? It would have everything needed for a RHD conversion for people in the states.

That's essentially what I'm trying to sell. I was just going to cut it up for ease of shipping.

No cars really come here on purpose that aren't good running vehicles. The cheapest of those sell for about $6000 for a non-turbo. Cheap for a MKII in Canada, not so much in the US

I have one of the very few that have ever crashed on Canadian soil. It will be hard to find one.
