Price Report: Stock viscous LSD units
Stop paying so much for these damn things. Ive been looking for one and Ive found them as cheap as $200 but most people are wanting $250-$300. Out of curiousity Ncturnal looked up brand new pricing for me and the damn things are listed barely over $300 BRAND NEW!!! So I called my local dealer to verify and they wanted $318 for a brand new unit. Stop selling your 100,000 mile, 10-12 year old unit for new prices. And people, stop buying them. In my book they should be $150-$200 unless you can document that it has low mileage, then at best it should be $225-$250.

Agreed. I didn't realize they were selling for so much.

i dont think most people, including myself knew what they cost brand new. They were just listing them for the going price which may be high, but they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay, atleast to the person buying it.

I agree that something is worth what people will pay, HOWEVER I believe 99% of mr2 owners do not know what a brand new one goes for including myself. I made the assumption that these would probably be $600-$800 from the dealer. This is why I made this thread, to give knowledge to the community.
