JDM Retractable Mirrors?

Hey Guys,
I was just browsing someones for sale post where they claimed (not saying they arent)that their retractable JDM mirrors were worth 700$ Is this realistic? My mirrors fold back and i am wondering if these mirrors are worth money to the right person,or if its just a matter of personal prefference.Thanks

For a MKI it might be realistic. They are quite rare, I was told they were only ever sold on the Super Edition.

Your mirrors aren't the ones they're talking about, however. All MKI MR2s have folding mirrors, the ones that are worth money are ones that power retract by a button on your interior power mirror control

Edit: My 1986 NA used to have very similar wheels to your car. I didn't like them at the time, but I really do now. If I ever have another MKI, I'll probably look for a set.

Ahh I see, I was thinkin wtf 700$ lol Thats nice to know. My Wheels are HRE techno 13's and i cant remember the offset right now, But yeah i like them but white mesh wheels = bitch to keep clean, I would like to sell them and pick up some DRAG brand multispokes in bronze with like a 3 o 4 inch lip in the back and a 1 or 2 inch lip in the front, If you want i can let you know when i sell i wont be asking much for them and depending on where you are in canada maybe we could meet and swap em off.IDK whatever. BTW do you know a good site to pick used wheels up from? I have heard of people getting next to new wheels for dirt cheap.

MK1 or MK2?

I don't see the big deal with the MK2 mirrors, because of the angles, you can't see out of the JDM ones and are completely pointless/worthless. The only thing you get with those in the states, is cool points.

I have a set just setting in my garage that I never installed...if someone is interested...mine wouldn't be too costly.

umm i paid about 380on ebay came with everythin u need jus need some wire obviously and im set havent installed them yet .. rally havent had any time to do it if anyone can give me sum tips or a how to i appericiate it thanks alot
