Wow thats a lot for an N/A..... Well considering you got a brand new paint job and it is a '94.... Yeah yeah I know it sucks to be in this situation. I guess he really can't do anything if you asked for that much. I probably would too if it was my car.
1st: how much did you get the car? 2nd: How much you put on it (paint etc..)? Price it that way..... I'm thinking between $6500-$7500. Good luck. |

Well i bought the car for 6 about 5 years ago but it needed tires and a front wheel bearing. Only had 78k on it though so i was so pumped
The paintjob was done at home 3 base 3 clears and man did she shine there is a full picture in my blog .. i'll try to post it here in a bit The biggest problem is that Kellly blue book/edmonds lists this car in the 3-4k range. To edmonds defense the seats were torn from wear and the car was about ready for new tires.. other than that perfect running shape i've gotten 2k out of it parting it out should i tell him he owes me another 3k? |

Well it's probably worth 10K +/- 1k. Just because it was a 94. Those pricing books are completely irrelevant to cars like this. I would like to see a 94 like that sell for less than 6k.

You could just take a look on the majority of classifieds. 94 and 95s are very rare and hard to come by, so they usually go for quite a bit. Ncturnal would have the best estimate though. He's a pro with the MKII, especially a gen 3 like this one.

I believe you mean Rev3.
![]() I'd say 9k if it was a hardtop and 7-8 if it was a t-top or sunroof. |

i recently bought a 91 mr2 n/a 5 speed and i found mine in great condition for 1 stack. it had been t-boned while parked,(not to serious of a problem)with a newer engine and new transmision (56k miles on both). 2 racing leather bucket seats and a deck unit, at first he wanted 2 stacks, but i told him to cut me off a better deal, since i was going to have to fix the damage and repaint. he agreed, but i know for a fact the car i bought should of been at 5 thousand USD. i hunted mr2's for about 2 months on autotrader and ebaymotors n/a's avareged at 4-5, turbo 6-8 depending on mileage. i even saw some 2's at 13+ but those where just staged to the maxx.

I think some in this thread have been too optomistic with the value.
I would say that $7-8k would be a fair price, based on your information. The only 94 NA cars that will bring ~$10k+ will be perfrect examples with low miles and little to no mods. |
