Berk Intercooler

Ok so Im going to try and make this review as fair as possible. Now that my car is running Ive had the opportunity to see what the berk IC can do. Im running a Blitz k3 turbo kit at around 11psi, it boosts hard and fast.
The installation of the Berk IC was straight forward and everything lined up fine... well that was until I installed my TRD strutbrace. I purchased the ic because I was told it would fit with the trd bar. Well it fits but not very well at all. I had to bent the piping and protected the bar underneath so it doesnt get scratched to hell. The clamps that come witht he kit are junk, I revved the engine up and right away 2 flew off hitting the roof of my garage. I tried to secure them as best I could but they would still flyoff. I went to the local go fast store and bought some of those heavy duty clamps. Cost me $75, installed these and the car immediately ran better just because there were no more leaks. One problem however, with the trd bar installed, the cold pipe doesnt line up with the tb inlet, it sits lower so the coupler is at an angle. Because the new clamps are soo strong they also bend the aluminum charge pipes which sucks ass.

So I go for my first serious drive.. I make a left hand turn onto a large street and mash on it... pop... the clamp somehow comes off and the car dies.. thanks to afm magic. I end up getting stranded without any tools, I had to get some people off the street to help push the car and this was downtown Calgary.. so emberassing. Anyways my buddy comes down with tools and we try our best to reposition the pipe and resecure the clamp. I think I have it now but its still not even and really pisses me off because Im a perfectionist. To be honest I feel ripped off by this kit because its not far off from the ebay kit. I should have just bought a spearco kit.. its worth the extra $400. Appreciate the attempt at this kit Bryan but its not yet perfect.
