Exclamation APPEARANCE REVIEW: SS Autochrome Intercooler SW20 kit

Well at first i would like to say that everything was packaged EXTREMELY neat, and seemed like it was a big named company like HKS or Greddy. Packaged very tight, in bubble wrap, everything had its own box.

I was very weary buying from SSAutochrome, because a few of my friends (nocturnal included) has been ripped off by SSautochrome. But a full intercooler kit for 400 dollars with piping, cuplers, and clamps? I had to see this. So i was your guys' guinnee pig.

My first issue, is a little dent in the tubing, seen here:

Now one may say "wtf, its just a little dent." Well keep in mind i paid for an intercooler, not a dent.

Heres my only real beef with this kit. The smaller elbows look like they were custom made by... Me. Ground up, messy.. Not pretty at all. Functional? Definately. Just not professional grade quality at ALL.

It's no secret that I hate SSAutochrome. Their products are hit or miss, and if you are one of the people that has a problem with them, forget getting any support or a refund from them. Thanks for the review.

I usually try and stay away from off-the-wall brands as I don't really know anything about how well their products are made and such. If I spent 400 on a kit like that, I'd be pissed personally, yeah, it's cheaper then the Trust, etc but that's still 400 to forked over and the quality is something I could have made, with my eyes shut haha

is it correct that the SSAC IC kits do not come with a shroud for behind the IC like the Greddy and Spearco kits do? If so that would be a major issue directing air through the core. I dont buy into needing a shroud on the front of the IC with a fan, but behind it - definitely.
