I have had my S.Techs now for a year and a half and love them. They make for great ride comfort.

I had them on my last mkII turbo...
They provided a very "sporty" ride while maintaining basic comfort.

You can find these for less than 200 easily, so they are def. a great buy.
I will get these again if I dont get a coilover setup.

Nate, what shocks/struts did you buy to go along with your tein's?

I have these on my car along with the stock strut and KYB shocks....

I use to have Teins SS w/ upper pillowball mounts on my Rsx. I was rather dissapointed with these. They are too soft for me and feel like they just cut a couple coils off a stock spring. My friend was able to compress this spring with his bare hands while I screw on the top nut for the strut..

Yup. They are not very stiff at all. I used them on stock struts and the ride was quite nice. Sportier than stock, but not rough at all. I payed something like 165 shipped for them off ebay. They are the lowest springs you can get, IIRC. They are mostly for show, and they definately look good. I can fit about 1 finger up front (although with pretty tall tires) and about 2 fingers in the rear. The only thing I didnt like was that when coupled with the stock struts I got alot of rubbing up front (of course due to the oversized front tires, but I like the look). Also, one side of the front seems lower than the other.

Good Springs

As before mentioned thay are the lowest springs you can get without going with a much more expensive coilover system. I just got mine about 2 months ago and I love the look. A lot more aggressive drop and with good ride quality. I paid $230 for them off of Ebay. I am using them right now with stock springs that are 18 years old so if I get new shock they should be even better. I highly recommend them!

I have them, and like it. What I don't like is my kyb sturt inserts paird with them. By all means they are good but not great for daily driving. But that all depens on the road condition and what kind of struts you have.

As for preformance on the track, they are ok, they could be stiffer, but that could go away with better sturts inserts. It really depends on your struts.
