CT27/550/Rom Tune

Just got it today. Looks beautiful! The second fuel map is for 110 octane. Going to start the install tomorrow. Along with Timing belt, water pump, and a plethora of gaskets, seal and hose. Hopefully have it running by the end of the weekend. -Wade-

Awesome! Which combo kit did you go with? http://www.atsracing.net/combokitsCT27.htm

I plan on going with one of their ct27 kit's when I pick up a MR2, so you've gotta take me for a ride when you get it installed!

If I don't hit 270 on pump gas I'll just flip the switch, rock 21psi and through in some 110 octane on track days. -Wade-

That sounds low. I ran 249rwhp on 15 psi with 93 oct.

Yes with 440's. I was still running on the stock IC so that meant 10+ minutes between dyno runs to cool back down.

Finished my install. Blew a knock sensor. Installed a ATS knock sensor kit and she feels good. Pulls up high unlike before. Should have a dyno and some A/F reding in the next couple weeks. -Wade-

You blew the stock knock sensor right after the swap? Is there something different about the knock sensor in the ATS kit?

How long did you wait for the kit?? I bought the kit 2 weeks ago and still waiting for them to ship it. I can't wait to put it on and feel the difference. Why did you below the knock sensor? Do I need to change the knock sensor to ATS knock sensor?

Well, Either my slave cylinder or my clutch couldn't handle the newly added power. Tranny is stuck in reverse at this time. -Wade-

I will guarantee you that with 22 PSI and 110 octane on the CT27 will not reach 320. Your going to need to boost 25 PSI 110 octane and you might get lucky and hit 310 WHP. On 93 octane you will be lucky to get to 230-240 WHP especially on stock internals and especailly on the stock cams. You will be very dissapointed when you dyno it. Please post the dyno graphs on the 110 octane and the 93 when you dyno it.

Any CT26 ported or modified wheels or CT27 is not a good turbo to make you big power. Save your money until you can afford a good turbo set up. Like the street brawler or something like that.
