product reveiw-ssautochrome manifold

i bought the ssa 3sgte manifold for my 5sfte project. the welds look good, and both flanges have a straight edge(not warped). there is one problem with mine though, one of the holes where the studs go through is off by about 1/8th inch. im going to drill it out and itll be alright, but i didnt see any reveiws for this and just thought id add one for people interested in this.

It is a POS. It bends almost immediatly and warps making it not usable. Don't waste your money.

I have used and installed two of these. They had some metal chunks inside the collector that needed to be ground off. The one I installed on a friend's car rubbed a little against one of the mounting tabs on the head for the hotpipe brace. The hotpipe also *doesnt* fit wth this manifold, at least not with the stock bracket. I made a quick little bracket for my friend's car that I put in place of the stock bracket, that lifted the hotpipe up about 1/4"-3/8", and it fit after that. It also needed a turbohoses coupler because the Turbohoses couplers are thinner. The thicker stock coupler will touch the #4 runner where the coupler attaches from the compressor outlet to the hotpipe.

Other than that neither I nor he had no more problems.

Bought one and they even mentioned that the manifold can be fitted on a GenIII engine. My fault for not doing my homework cause not only are holes of the studs are way off, the tubing of the manifold are not in line with the exhaust port. It was off by as much as an inch. Have to cut off the flange and make a new one. Due to that, the exhaust manifold is shorter and the downpipe is very close with the a/c compressor. Because of the heat, my aircond is useless. Fitted 3 compressors and each one doesnt last more than 4 days. In other words, i do not recommend using their exhaust manifold.
