Brad Bedell & ATS Racing's MKI MBC Brace ROCKS!!!
Hey all;
Sorry about the delay on the review, but life's been kicking me in the pants! I will have high quality pics soon, as I am just in the midst of re-doing my stereo set-up and want to make it so you can see the MKI brace as part of the new install. I'd like to first state that I am in no way affiliated nor personally know Brad Bedell and/or the people at ATS Racing. My review is strictly from an end-users perspective and is meant to only provide feedback to the manufacturers of the brace and those of you who are considering buying this product. The Review: The quality of the material used, design, and fitment is superior to ANY brace I have seen on this side of the border (Canada). Fitment is precise and leaves no space for sloppy installation (as none is needed with the precision of the mounting holes). The brace is sturdy and with the addition of the "leg" piece that goes to the lower chassis of the vehicle (which the early models of the H&T Brace did not have) the brace holds the MBC rock/diamond solid with no flex! The powder coating is top grade and should hold-up under extreme use. However, one should remember that everything has its limits. The only thing I wish the brace did come with was a complete set of screws to maintain a consistent look with that used to join the "leg" piece to the main bracket. However, this is a minor cosmetic issue and can easily be resolved with $2.50 at any local Hardware Store. In short, the MKI MBC Brace from Brad Bedell & ATS Racing is amazing and really second to none! It is a great mod/addition to any MKI, regardless of your driving style/habits. Sincerely; Danny Revelant ![]() |
