Yes, thats a Grand Am Koni Challenge car, I'll be running in a NASA Southeast Club Event, but the car is the real deal. Hope to see how I stack up to their drivers by comparing our numbers from the data acquisition system, etc, etc.

It should lap somewhere in the 1:40.0-1:42.0 range (89-91mph average) , my previous best in my 1991 NA was 1:52.5 (81mph average) ... Just a wee bit faster and since its not insanely powerful, there will be a good bit of that time made up in the corners, which I find alot more fun to do

What do you have to do to go? (license, saftey gear, entey fee). I haven't
ran there since 2005. Be side have seven MR2s, I road race a bertone
X1/9 & held the track record there from 1999 to 2003 (143:2). Would like to
pull the cover off the old girl & have a little fun, haven't ran since
Nashville in June. I run with scca, don't know very much about nasa?

they're a newer, younger, hipper version of SCCA really - a few new things, but when you boil it down its nearly identical except with different faces.

If your SCCA race license is current you could hop on out there with them as each club honors the others race licenses now - 8hr enduro fri, sprints sat & sun.

What class did you build your X1/9 for?
