My only comment is on the amount of contact I see in amateur racing in the US versus Europe. I watched the MR2 vs. MX-5 race from england - - and the driving skill seems to be so much better in England. Or maybe it's etiquette... any comments?

Another race that comes to mind is this Lotus race -
I hope this isn't hijacking your thread -- if it is, we can move this discussion to another thread. It's just a general trend I've noticed with amateur US racing, especially spec miata racing. It's almost as if contact is expected.

generally its cleaner than that - the red one just felt like he had the blue one cleared but didn't, they touched wheels in a way that didn't end well unfortunatley...

that was not normal

sound - I'll look at the GoPro camera settings and see what I can figure out... it should have had some but didn't for some reason. My car has a stock exhaust right now so you wouldn't hear alot anyway

A friend of mine used Windows Vista to get the video from his GoPro cam and for some reason it had no sound, where the same video had sound under windows XP. I'm not sure if that's the issue you're having, but maybe worth a shot.
