VIDEO: In Car road racing Gen 3 turbo

Well with the new found power I was able to hang with the top of my class. I run GT2 which is a local class of 3.0L and higher (power adders legal as well) with a breakout time of 1:18.99. I ran my best time ever at this track, The Circuit at Grand Bayou (formerly No problem raceway), of 1:20.62 this past weekend.

A Porsche blew his motor at the fastest turn (turn 1 about 110-115 mph) and I almost bit it hard there. I ended up getting 2nd place behind my friend Bob's 2nd gen Speedsource RX-7 that now has an LS2 and 280mm Michelin's on it.

I am still running down the 225 / 255 Hankook C70 combo I have that were on closeout last year. LOTS of understeer since the front tires are now plastic (cycled out the day before, should have changed them!).

This is only race #1 for our season (we run in the winter because it's so hot in Louisiana), so I'm only down 1 point for the year so far.

Ran down the silver Panoz, but his line and power kept me from getting the pass. I'm still on Hankook 225 / 255 combo. Panoz is on Michelin slicks.

I need real tires!
