I certify at this moment the age of the 4 banger swap is over. The V6 Turbo Toyota is the next big thing...especially now that the support of guys like Weasy and fabricators like Node who are willing to develop and push the envelope of tuning and engineering. Hey Weasy...so if I kiss enough ass do I get a S2S membership discount card? LOL
Thanks for all you guys do Dave |

You know, if things keep progressing this rapidly, I may have to go V6T sooner rather than later. I had assumed it would take a while for all the parts to be widely available. We got mounts, pistons, tachadapters. PNP harnesses and E153 gearsets, etc underway. Anybody working on a GT35R kit, IC kit, and exhaust for the 3VZ? Kevin |

Spike all that is in the works as well...including rods, head gaskets, valves (VERRRRY soon), valve springs (VERY SOON) and cams (already to go...)
The other kits will be a little longer down the road but currently im just getting parts in that are hard to find or are a pain in the butt because you have to wait 4-8weeks for a custom order to be filled. With me stocking them it takes no time except shipping to get them ![]() |

So if I order to stock spec forged pistons I'll be good for how much boost ? The cams I like the idea but regrinds are not my thing.Do you see any of these in the near future ?
-adj. cam gears (not like they make a difference) -turbo manifolds -exhuast -one piece cams -etc.. |

You can go high...its all a matter of tuning. He is using a hydra to control it all and the UK distributor to tune it so they know what they are doing.Of course you need the rods as well if you want to hit those numbers safely. Cam gears....why? It gets complicated with that internal sync gear and wont lead to the gains you are hoping for HOWEVER.....read on :P Why no regrinds? Once i get either my chassis or engine dyno in shop i will be testing out different type of regrinds WITH camshaft advance/retard built in...of course they are not adjustable BUT why adjust when its set perfectly anyway? But then again you are not looking for regrinds so I hope you can find a place that will offer TRUE billets with the strength of OEM casting with the duration/lift you are looking for WHILE paying less then $1000 for them :P Trust me man i looked and the $$$ were way to high that i could not risk dumping all my R&D money into them just to have a few people pick them up when regrinds does the same thing (given you need to upgrade valves on the more aggressive ones) Turbo Manifolds and Exhausts are all in the works, i currently have a 1mz header design i am looking at replicating for resale but that will be a few months from now as well. One Piece cams? Come again? And what is ETC :P |

adjustable cam gears.... have you looked inside the head? reason 3sgte can have adj cam is because the intake and exhaust are BOTH driven by the timming belt. the v6 has the lash gear that keeps them together and run on a single cam gear on each head. so any adjusting will move BOTH exh/int which doesn't help at all

The ADJ. cam gears are just a question simply because damn near every motor and it's cousin has it offered(that and I forgot that I noticed that when I opened the head up). I have not heard very good things about re-grinds and that's why I'm weary.
