Sea2Sky Tuning to offer Cometic MLS Headgaskets!
Well I have finally made an arrangement with Cometic which will have me stocking 5vz-fe 3vz-fe, 1mz-fe, 3mz-fe & 3vz-e v6 head gaskets most of which will be exclusive to Sea2Sky Tuning. I will also be stocking 3s, 5s and 4a HGs AND Complete engine build kits.
What is MLS? MLS stands for Multi-Layer Steel. MLS head gaskets are comprised of three layers of stainless steel. The outer layers are an embossed viton coated stainless steel providing a superior seal with excellent rebound characteristics and are corrosive resistant. MLS head gaskets reduce bore distortion and withstand extreme cylinder pressures. If anyone is interested in purchasing MLS gaskets for your V6 feel free to let me know so i can determine the size of my first order from Cometic. 5vz-fe's will be first in line as production has already started! I am waiting samples of the other v6 motors to be made, but if i have a demand for one more then others then i will push that to be made first. Also if there is any other engine you would like to see MLS gaskets made for please feel free to pm or email me! Current Price details: 5vz-fe: $82.50 a side ($165 a set) plus shipping. 3vz-fe: TBA 3vz-E: TBA 1mz-fe: TBA 3mz-fe: TBA 3s-gte: $82.50 for HG 5s-fe: $82.50 for HG 4a-gze: $82.50 for either 81 or 83mm bores I should be placing my first order late next week (Aug 22-23rd)Thank you! Johnny Riglietti Sea2Sky Tuning

Sorry i got a little behind in my work here. I ordered up a set of OEM Head gaskets and they should be here soon. I will send them away and it should not be long before they can make up a set.
Ill post back with info! Question: I took a 98 1mz gasket is there any differences in HG's with the 1mzs? Bsides the VVT stuff |

im working on it, the holidays are now over and i can finally get this stuff dealt with...December was pretty much a write off because people kept leaving on holidays throughout the month, that plus factory shut downs really didnt help.

I would definetly get a set of the 3VZ MLS gaskets. and then provided it all goes well I would probably buy more to facilitate people here in Australia.
Let me know either PM or email or MSN (camotec@hotmail.com) |

Well Im also interested in the HG for the 3vzfe. I just found out the 3vze HG cannot be used on the 3vzfe. See photos in my post. So any word on the price and availability of these?

yea the 3vz-e and 3vz-fe are not common at all they share nothing similar really.
Pricing will be similar to the 5vz-fe set above, maybe a little more because they are not a "on the shelf" item at cometic. THey said mid sept is when ill be able to start ordering them |

Well they are similar, its the sealing ring that is a lil funky. The 3vze combustion chamber is oddly shaped due to its 2valve nature... But other things are quite close... But it woudnt be worth fixing whats wrong. Clost but no cigar. Ill be waiting on the gaskets. Hopefully they will be available when I start to put my beast together.
