I just have to say, something that isn't Toyota, doesn't make it cheap either. As you have modified your exterior in such a manner that you consider tastefully done. Modifications are still just that, modifications. Whether it be exterior, interior, or engine/performance. It's still "modified" it not kept stock. Putting a stipulation on exterior modifications being bad while performance modifications being acceptable doesn't quite make sense to me, or perhaps i'm not seeing your train of thought on it. But when I see something modified, exterior or engine, I still see the car's value depreciating because of it.

IIRC a shop did the work prior to buying?

I do remember that said shop was supposed to start making them for production purposes, and i've seen the hood pop up on ebay stores from time to time, but haven't seen the raised engine lid yet.

Ummmm the guy i bought it from did everything on the car..........so unless he lied, its all hand fabricated by him...not a shop..........i believe it was him though....... He had another goofy looking Civic with just as much work done to it in his garage. I am trying to get rid of the hood BTW for anyone interested........i want a stock one........i dont like vents that much.

^ oh well, could've sworn he told me he got it custom done at a shop abck when he was selling. Oh well, maybe he was the one working at the shop or something :dontknow: who knows, I kinda like the hood, a bit aggressive and definately needs an agressive kit to go with it though.
