Your Favorite OEM MR2 Color?

I've seen that many white ones which appear to have been patched up with Tip-ex on scratches and stone chips -it must be a cheap colour to maintain that way!

...colours only look good if they fit the individual car. Personally I find flat colours in general a bit bland for the MR2. And I like white the least but that's just my personal taste I guess.

...no accounting for taste!

...wait a minute, I just realised I voted Aquamarine (obviously). But there's a food few variants which I HATE. I'd only vote UK 1993 Aquamarine (there's only one) -the rest are too blue for my liking. My bumper's a variant of Aquamarine at the moment and I can't stand it.

Check the title of the thread. You asked what is your FAVORITE colour, not what is the BEST. Favorite is subjective "I like blue better than xxx", "I prefer white over xxx", "I think xxx is lame", whereas the BEST is more objective. Best means it is better than something else and would need to be analysed and proven. Does is stay clean longer than another colour, do stone chips or other defects stand out more or less than other colours, how difficult it is to match up if required, do I get laid more often, and so on.

I could state that red is my favorite colour, but that would be my opinion. I wouldn't have to prove it. However, if I said red was the best then I'd have to be able to prove that it is "better" than other colours.

I would agree the White is hands down the "favorite" colour based on the votes, but I could still argue that it is not the best.

3. White and Black - I like them equal - white shows perfect the outlines, black shows perfect the dimensions.

3. Red (but only '91red, which has never been polished)

I like the Steel Mist Gray, but I had my painted a little more blue pearl.
Nice, but I think I will go back to my origional ....Steel Mist Gray in a year or so.

Red was my favorite color for 40 years. Now, I like Yellow for practical reasons. It's a happy color that really stands out. Recently, I parked in a 1000 car lot in Boston. I got a little turned around by the shuttle bus. Even so, I easily found my car from across the lot. I saw a bit of the bumper sticking out from between two large SUV's. That Solar Yellow practically glows.

Its an odd list but here i go.

Favorites:

1. Tropical Blue Metallic (After i bought my car, another one came up for sale in this colour...damn it)
2. Super Red's I & II (Also my car colour )
3. Super White's I & II (I just like it slightly over black, black is good too)


Least favorites

1. Signal Yellow (it looks sickly, Awful...its just horrible)
2. Biege Mica Metallic (What were they thinking...Beige?)
3. Crimson Red (it's dull...its not vibrant like the super red)
