And she breaths!

New video with the timing adj. slightly. Still not perfect though, hence the backfire at the end...I still need to adj. the idle as the cams won't allow it at low RPM.

Oh and here are a few things that showed up this past week. My SoundStorm 4f400 amp for the 2 Tang Band subs that I'm installing from EMSPowered, my MSD 6al-2 (integrated 2-step and rev limit) and tach adapter, and the CRW axle cages courtesy of TCS Motorsports. I'm still waiting on my Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials size 255-60/15.

What's cool about that amp is it's plenty powerful for my Tang Band subs and small enough to perfectly fit under the seat. I'm running all the wiring under the carpet as well. So all of the audio will be hidden and stock appearing but definitely not stock sounding.

So I was playing with the cam gears today. Listen to this fakin idle! SOOOO nasty! It's very mean and lopey Be sure to listen to it on a good set of speakers (no lap top built in speakers cause it sounds like ****) also turn the bass down some.

A couple more videos and a picture. The video's sound much better. One is before I took it to town to wash and one is after.

Sooooo.......It's been an incredibly long time since I updated this. Somewhat of a lot has happened. The car is FINALLY going to ATS for a tune Sunday. I'm leaving it an then picking it up hopefully in 2 weeks.

UPDATES:
Well, I ditched the MBC idea and bought a new Blitz SBC-id dual solenoid EBC so I can have rock solid boost control and the ability to adj. on the fly.

One of the biggest updates is what I purchased......I bought Hyde's drag set-up! It's legit! The set-up consists of Chico Race Works extremely light 3 piece wheels 15x4 7lb skinnies up front and 15x8 10lb "fatties" in the rear. Cmoes with tires as well for the front basically brand new. The rear tires are 275/50-15 BFG drag radials. Also comes with the spacers need to make the wheels fit over the brakes and make them flush along with extended ARP studs (brand new) and 2 sets of open faced lug nuts. So now my my car is going to be completely set-up for drag racing! Basically the only thing that is going to prevent me from my quarter mile goal is me as the driver! lol

Here are pics of the set-up in question:

Other changes include ditching the Berk exhaust for an Apex GT Spec 3.5" exhaust. One of the best sounding exhausts made for MR2's that are cam'd. Sounds soo mean. I don't care that it's loud, this car isn't a daily driven car.

I'm installing the EBC, the MSD, Audio, Rebuilding the brake calipers, and a couple other random things friday and saturday. Then saturday night I'm loading it up on the trailer and heading out sunday early for ATS. Should be home by 8 that night. I'm very very anxious for the results and to finally hit the track which is what I have been building the car for. Wish me luck! I will post some pics saturday.

Got some pics and vids today. Didn't really do much to the car because it was waaayyy too hot out. I cleaned the bay up a bit and snapped some pics and then driving vids.

My bay went from this

To this

To this...

To finally this

I think the newest version is quite the change and a much nicer one!

So right now, the car is just running off a 7 psi wastegate spring for safety measure. I will swap in a 10psi spring before I head down to ATS. But at 7 psi, the car pulls nicely. Can't wait for around 25psi!

I have already booked my flight back here for next sunday. So that's when I'm taking the car down and leaving it for them to check it over and tune it, degree the cams, and fine tune the Blitz DSBC ebc on the dyno. So very soon it will be tuned and ready to hit the track. My drag wheel set-up will be here wednesday. Anxious about that as well!

lol, nope didn't get it tuned in 2 hours!

Seriously though, it's being dropped off at ATS on Sunday. Hopefully doesn't take them more than a couple days to get to it and picking it up the following weekend.

Drove the car to school today as a test to see how it takes to a long distance drive. (80 miles) The car did awesome! Not only that, the car is quick, real quick! This is only at 7psi. There is so much throttle response it's crazy. Spool is incredibly quick. All of this adds up to me making the conclusion that this car is going to be very fast once fully tuned and full boost. The power curve is awesome. there is so much more mid-range to high rpm power. Off boost driving is great, actually better than before which is surprising because I thought I would lose some bottom end due to the cams and intake mani.

So today I was just prepping my car for the drive to ATS Racing tomorrow (Leave at 7am). Also cleaned the living hell out of the engine bay and removed a couple more things and zip tied a few thing together to clean it up a bit.

Here are before pics of my engine bay last fall....
