i didn't really go through the thread but where in the hell did you pick up that rare gem? there was only like 15 made or something like that, right?
Standard rumors indicate 100-200 Spiders. They're easy for the Brits to pick up thanks to their import laws.. and MR2 values are rock-bottom over there compared to here.

This thing flys it pulls like a train so no lag will hold its own against a Rev 2 Tubby for sure.

Yeah, in the bottom range, the NA is great. In 1st and 2nd gear it'll keep up with a Turbo with no problems. Once you start to get into higher revs and higher speed is when you can see a big difference. On topic, this has got to be one of the coolest 2's around. Great job on the restoration Topgun!

...is your 3SGE stroked? Sorry if I missed it in the thread.

Also, those seats turned out 10000X better than I was expecting when I heard "TRD logo embroidery"

Great choice on the seats. We just had our seats done with almost identical trim. The only difference is we had black perforated inserts put in, and instead of TRD embroidered on the seat, we had MR2 embroidered on the head rest (in red though, just like you). We did the same thing with the red stitching as well. Looks great bud.

Our next plans for the interior include a 98 jdm red-stitched TRD shift knob, a red-stitched shift boot, and a red stitched black TRD SRS steering wheel. We also had our door panel inserts done with black leather and red stitching.
