I dont know how i missed this thread, but i found it via search (thankfully). I've never heard of a 2000GT TRD MR2. (coming from the Celica world) but good God you have the sleekest car ever. I have never been a HUGE fan of widebody MR2's, but im in LOVE with your car. I read every post on here and i just wanted to say how proud i am of an MR2 owner putting this much time and money into an awesome car. I cannot explain how much kudos i have for you, (and stated before, the Jealousy ) Much, much, much props. Congrats. Cheers.

Got my new Double Din installed today had to send the cheap one back as it went faulty after 2 days,as i said in a previous post its cheap for a reason although the Kenwood with the Bluetooth interface was around £500 dearer but the quality and user functions speak for them selves.Got the bluetooth unit installed but ran out of time to set it up but managed to take some pics of the various other functions.

Had a problem with the back lighting on the gauges, found out the bulb holder was faulty, couldn't get spare parts some made up some leds with a drop down resistor and managed to solder them to the original pcb board, lighting was white originally so now changed it for a nice blue, well pleased.

I have a 7" Kenwood Touchscreen Navi w/ 5volt preouts in my other car. Top notch and the Hard Drive based Navi is great...much better than the dvd based ones. You'll love the Kenwood unit you just put in!!

Amazing mr2.My nightmare is if she gets hit, keep here garaged forever & behind bullet proof glass so future generations can enjoy looking at the TRD 2000GT MR2. Its to risky to drive her on public roads. If i lived in the uk & saw someone hit your God like MR2 i would probaby end up killing them lol

How does one nominate a car for car of the month? Or are they even doing that anymore? I mean we still don't have the car of the year and we haven't had a Jan. car of the month nor Feb. or Mar. If they do have one again, TOPGUN has my vote!
