Dash + TRD shift knob/short shifter
First off, thanks for showing us your legendary car and project in detail. Second, did you have any updates on the covered dash? Finally, did you decide to go with the TRD shift knob only or do you plan on putting in a TRD short shifter?
Thanks, Micah |

Thanks for your kind comments dude ,enjoyed every minute restoring the car and its 99% finished.I managed to source a TRD gear knob but it hits the shoulder of the short shifterbefore it enters the threaded part ,i have thought of a way to over come this by making a 12 mm threaded collar which i will glue in place, just hope this does the job, still undecided on the dash but will keep you all updated.

Well the car went back on the rollers yesterday to see if this baby would break the 200 barrier and i was robbed by 2.7 bhp,i was still impressed with the figures so can't grumble.I suppose with the big wheels i have on the back doesn't help so i'm thinking of doing the next run with stock wheels on so i'm sure i can claw back 2.7 bhp will have to wait and see.

haha! if i were that close, I would just say its 200hp. 3hp difference is so marginal.
shoot, a 3hp upgrade might involve a "Vtec kicked in yo!" sticker |
