Yes, make him come on here.
I have to ask, do you still have your other MR2? Why did you have to sell this one. Sorry you had to let her go. I've seen quite a few nice cars get sold to owners who didn't care and didn't take care of them. Hopefully the new owner does. |

I shed a tear.
I would have loved to buy it, however, you spent more on the leather than I bought my car for. Thanks a lot for the amazing read. |

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd put up a message to say I am the one who bought TRD1, and yes I have been enjoying her immensely, when the snow and rain hasn't been around. Fortunately, I have been lucky enough to source some original Alumi K wheels and an original TRD steering wheel for her. Not that the Volk and Momo gear on there already are bad, it's just I feel pride and passion in restoring right back to original details. This TRD stuff is uber rare now!! I also bought some TRD lowering springs to replace the Eibach ones. Probably no difference here, but I just want TRD! lol! And I got some TRD anti roll bars to replace the Cusco ones. TRD all the way! Both items are again very rare as they are discontinued. I also got a TRD front tower bar to replace the Cusco one. It is currently getting chromed to match the rear. I still haven't got my hands on a TRD dual exit exhaust yet though. If anyone can help me out that would be great. So what's next for her?.......Well I have to refurb the wheels and steering wheel and fit everything I have bought as well as play around with the suspension as it feels just a tad loose. If I can't find the TRD exhaust I will fit a Blueflame one as the Japspeed is just far too loud! I will prob play around with the Tom's ECU and maybe get it remapped. I also intend to dynamat the whole of the interior and set up a decent sound system with 10 inch sub! Then I think I will be pretty much done! ![]() |

AWESOME. This is the direction I had hoped to see the car go. I'm also TRD freak.... and I do have a nearly new (~500miles) TRD Exhaust, but it's all mine
I looked a long time for TRD Alumi-K's, but I've had trouble finding them anywhere other than Japan. I settled on Tom's C7R's, but would buy Alumi-K's given the chance. Nothing against the build, but, nice find, you have a great starting point to get back into a more correct TRD car. I'm jealous ![]() Quote:

GAH I have to ask, WHY BLUE GAUGES, on a red car with red interior accents.
also the calipers would be better in red or black >.> but still better than some colors I have seen, that interior is close to amazing, is there any special kind of leather that was used? anyway, as many others said, although a bit too enthusiastically, nice work |
