You don't HAVE to do anything to a 5sfe for it to support boost. A friend of mine used to have a turbo on his 5sfe. Most people who do this run between 6-8 psi. And it is very close to a stock 3sgte at that boost setting. This one looks like an upgraded turbo so I'm guessing upgraded internals as well to support the bigger turbo, I'd be interested to see what this particular setup is making as well.

HAHAH thanks guys i appreciate it..Now to answer all your questions
datguydeni:Umm dyno i havent yet i havent fired up the car yet for the reason i still need a down pipe and my feed line broke so i have to get a new one..Im running the T3 T4 Turbo at 8psi to be safe.. Drew:my manifold is custom, i got it from ebay but it had no adaptor for the wastegate and i had to make it my self so thats what makes it custom mr2stealth: Yes im going to run it with stock internals...Ill be doing swap hopefully this summer so im not worrying about them..and yes any more than 8psi is just pushing it.. killermillermr2:No i did not i managed to use the 3s intercooler piping that it came with i just crossed them..I really like how that set up is |

If you have a properly tuned EMS of some type you can run 17 psi w/ a ct26 all day long on a stock 5s block without internal mods.
What blows up turbo 5s is the stock computer and its crazy timing for NA use. and i want to see dynos when its done |
