Pics of my MK2

I bought them off a seller on Ebay (GForceUSA) for like $33.99shipped. They are glass and came with Hyper white bulbs. They are plug and play. Looks better than the stock ones IMO.

Here are some quick shots I took. I also took off my bumper so in the pic it is just mocked up. Thats the reason why the box is supporting the bottom of it. I didnt wire up the lil bulb/city light. I'm still figuring out where i want to wire it to.

I picked up a urethane Border bumper over the weekend for $100 in excellent condition because the one i had was fiberglass and was cracked. I also red-out the amber in the tail-lights. Dont mind the zip ties they are temporary til i pick up some sidemarkers.

Here are some older pics of it right after it was painted.

Lmk what you think, negative and positive comments are accepted

Those light are most likely going to have horrible beam pattern and vague light focusing. Projector type headlights require a specially designed bulb and placement to effectively and properly shine the light in the way they do. It is improper to simply put a dome shaped cover over the bulb.

By the looks of your headlight housing I'm pretty sure I have very similar ones but without the "projector style" thing. I took out the blue city light thing too. They cost me under $30....these are ones you should have gotten to provide a proper beam pattern.

I'm highly curious as to how those "projector style" are going to shine at night.

I'm not trying to bash or hate but just shoot you the info that I know of by running into research that I ran into while I was going through the process of finding headlights to replace my oem sealed beam headlights.

This is the headlight I have.

Let us know how yours end up shining.

sorry man they are crap, i bought both. 1 like this and one that are black
the clear ones went into my friends 200sx and the black went into mine sw20
they bot light up horribly and not 20% light goes through the projector witch isnt projector its just a glass

if i were you i would go pick up a nice set of Hella, they are worth it
those ebay lights are awsome for shows and stuff like that but nothing more

Spinfin, i was gonna pic something up like yours. but i wanted to get HID's so i just got the projector ones instead. I will see how they look. i just got them in and its not that dark to tell how they light up yet.

I just got them not knowing if they are any good. But it will be a learning experience then i guess. My stock seal beams sucked, i couldnt really see too well with them.

The only thing that dome piece is going to do is mess up the way the light reflects out and within the housing.

I'm glad you mention a future HID set up because I am running H.I.D lights currently with those housings I posted....

This picture had some photo work done to it but you get the idea...

I'll post post up some more pictures of the HIDs so you can see in a bit

Here are some pictures so you can see how they look from a distance as well as some blurry night shots that I took that show the amount of light they shine which is a huge improvement and actually functional rather than just "show"

I hope it helps man in your future decision. If you're interested you should read up into the set up via this thread...

The white MR2 in these pictures also uses H.I.D lights both headlights and fogs.

Those arent even real projectors just a clear piece of plastic in front of the bulbs. Cheap Chinese made stuff and yes your light is very scattered.

Save your cash and pickup some Rev6's, Best exterior mod I have done IMO...Well worth it.

Yea i can tell they arent real projectors. The light output isnt that bad in these. So i dont really mind. I'ma get some HID's and see how they are. I dont have the money to spend on Hella's or Rev6's. I would rather spend that xtra money on performance parts. These will do for now. I might pick some diamond cut ones w/o the projector to see the difference for the hell of it.

I think wheel spacers would really trim up the exterior of your car nicely. Getting the new bumper painted soon?

I love the new border bumper i got. Way more durable than the AIT racing fiberglass one. It seems like it flares out on the sides a bit tho. looks kinda funny to me. as for the part that meets the hood it looks good. I dont notice any kind of warpage at all. And thanks for the comments on the wheels.

I got some red-out vinyl on ebay for like $8.99 off a seller, MetroSellers. I just heated up and use soap water like tinting windows.

I have those same headlights...the light pattern sucks. The strong point to that is that everyone has an SUV in my area and they definitely see me when I'm coming up behind them...
