Rebuilt brakes, suspension and wheel arch

Here's what I've spent so far just on the suspension:

B&G Springs - $215 (all four springs)
Front Caliper Rebuild Kit - $32
Tokico HP Strut Inserts - $210 (all four)
Slotted front rotors: $90 (Never buy from discount brakes.com by the way!!!)
MOOG Front Ball Joint Set (part # K9345) - $90
MOOG Front Tie Rod Ends (part # ES2270R) - $60
Ceramic Front Pads (part # c242) - $38
Urethane Complete Bushing Set - $90
Wheel arch, caliper and flat black enamel spray paint: ~ $25

I also have '03 MK3 wheels to mount along with Hankook RS2 tires. Once I've completely finished the suspension, I'll add some more pictures.

How are those springs? Firmer than stock? Lower? I have do do my daily driver's shocks before next summer according to the inspectors. Mind as well upgrade a little while I'm at it if the price is that good.

To be honest, I haven't driven on them yet. Based on all the research I've done, they will lower the car about 1.4 - 1.6 inches and they are about 25% stiffer than stock.

I was going to go with ST Springs but no one, I mean NO ONE had them in stock. They had no idea when/if they were ever going to get anymore. Even Twos R Us didn't know.

Do you know what color ST springs are? I think I have a set on my 88. It also has adjustable struts and it sits low. I have about 1 inch or so between my wheel and arch. I'm not really sure how thats going to be. I cant even slide my creeper underneath when the car is all the way down. I'm trying to decide whether or not to upgrade or just replace with factory stuff. We carry Monroe at work so I can proably get a deal on them but tokiko blues with those springs may be cheaper and what I go with. Keep me posted on how the car is with that setup.

The ST springs are gray even though their website shows them as green.

Will do.

Finally got the ball joints and tie rods in.

Look at the 3rd picture and compare the drivers side vs the passenger side - night and day difference.

Still have some cleaning up to do and paint some misc screws, but you get the idea.

It's looking good. The springs I have look to be purple but some of the paint is chipping off. I wish I had the time and money to spend making it look that clean. I'm on a tight budget and short time to get it on the road.

Finally finished the drivers side front suspension. Now I just need to get the tank back in and I can get it off the jack stands. LOL.
