not sure what springs they are..maybe eibach? Thats not the water pump, its the water outlet and really no way to tell if its leaking off the motor and dry, but those O-rings look old and deformed. clean and replace!!

do you know what brand the ex-manifold is?(ss-auto/xs power) Was wondering if you could give your impression on it. I always wanted to get them but everyone says they are not good - But with no real proof... or good details.

A heavy turbo and a stainless DP, both with no support brackets, mounted to the stainless manifold sounds like a lot of stress.... specially when it starts glowing and the engine is twisting and torquing....

I really like the lightweight and look they offer,(and of course the price) and i figure if the stock turbine is secured with the bracket it has, maybe the manifold would not crack? I can see daily driving maybe being safe, but after i do some 5 min runs on mountain passes, i know i can light my cigerettes off the turbine/ex-manifold while it glows. You think the stainless ex-manifold would survive that kind of abuse?

Those are one of two types of springs.

Those look like H & R springs to me. H & R springs are red, and the stance of the car looks right for H & R springs too.

If it's Eibach, it's Eibach Sportlines. Sportlines have a lower slightly lower drop than the H & R springs, and are also red.

As for the struts, you won't be able to tell without taking the shock assembly off the car, separating the springs from the strut and then removing the giant gland nut at the top of the shock body housing. The MR2 uses strut inserts, so to tell which struts you are running you'll have to remove the insert from the housing as described above.

If the inserts are yellow they are Koni's, orange that are KYB AGX's, white they are Tokico 5 ways, and if they are silver they are KYB GR2 oem replacement struts (The GR-2 are oem replacement, not performance shocks).

i believe thats the entire pump assembly, but when u get a replacement AISIN part the pump comes separate of that housing w/ the o-rings/outlets/studs, etc. Should probably do the thermostat while you got it apart, if u havent already

yea i just replaced the oil pump, all the seals, all the oil cooler o rings, the two hoses from hell, water pump, and thermostat. the timing is the only thing left to do including the idler pulleys and what not. all parts are from Toyota, except the oil pump which is the high volume.

i think it dose fine. iv driven it pretty hard and its holding up with no problems. For the brand its from cx racing. for now its fine.
