Thanks so much everyone for the kind words, Tony really appreciates it and is eager to get the car down the track quicker. A few new goodies have gone into the car, here are some new pics...

To answer some questions, correct it is no longer running the TMIC, it is currently running a air-water intercooler setup from Precision.

The car currently makes 772 hp, going back to the dyno soon as its had some new parts installed

Ahhh yes i know this car
The owner doesn't speak English that well right??
and wasn't the tire size too much to run in the SportRWD class last NHRA moroso event.
Are you all tryin to make the car legal to compete in Sport RWD Class in NHRA SportCompact car events this next comming season??

Dont make the same mistake that caused the demise of the mr2 community's other N.America 9 second MR2.

I think I was reading that the guy had the psi in his DR's set too low, which gave his car too much grip off the line which made it really squirrely, and he couldnt regain control and smashed into the wall at 80mph or something like that.

Better to have the psi in your dr's on the highside than the lowside for some tire spin and be safe from destroying the car in the process of making your runs.

I am unsure if the MR2 will ever break into the 8's like the DSM's do, due to the stability problems that this short wheelbased RWD car has at the kind of speeds & acceleration required to run an 8.
