September 2006 MR2 Showcase

Congratulations to Jay - MR2Board's September 2006 Showcase MR2!
1987 Naturally Aspirated Toyota MR2

Click the below thumbnails for fullsize pictures:

This month we bring you our Showcase car a couple days late in respect of the passing of our friend and fellow enthusiast Ali. May he rest in peace.

Even those partial to the rounder body styling of the newer generation MKII and MKIII MR2's will have a hard time denying the clean elegance of an 87+ white MR2. There's no better car this month to showcase that beauty than our very own jay's 1987 Naturally Aspirated example.

Sporting a recent exterior makeover that included new black 17" RTX wheels wrapped in 240/40R17 rubber, Tockico struts, a 1.3" drop on ST springs, and dark tint, jay's car excentuates the raw look of 1980's Japanese imports.

Congratulations to jay for being MR2Board's August 2006 Showcase MR2 and for having a gorgeous MR2.

Happy MR2ing, Jay!
