September 2007 MR2 Showcase

Congratulations to DANNO - MR2Board's September 2007 Showcase MR2!
1991 Turbo MR2 T-Top

Click the below thumbnails for fullsize pictures:

Most people buy an MR2 with dreams of building the perfect car in mind. DANNO managed to skip one major step, he recently purchased an already modified car from another MR2 community member, Kevin. Dan was lucky enough to find a car that, in his mind, was nearly perfect. He calls it "the nicest MR2 he's ever seen." A Bomex and Greddy compilation sprayed in a fresh Lexus Millenium Silver gives this Mister Two a seriously agressive stance on the street.

With under 95,000 original miles, DANNO's MR2 looks the part, but given its full modification treatment, it's really hard to believe that this car's life has just begun. Having dynoed 282 hp and 269 ft-lbs on 17 psi, this MR2 doesn't only look good, but being able to run 13.3 seconds at 107 mph, this MR2 can hold its own at the track.

Again a car with nearly too many modifications to list, DANNO's '91 Turbo is one of those cars that MR2 owners strive to imitate.

Happy MR2ing Dan

I have a top ten list of favorite MK2's EVER. And this is definately my 2nd choice.
Very very nice car man......Congrat's. Black94t's car is still my favorite, but the only thing that puts him ove the top is his choice in wheels and fatty's at that.
IMO ....And i've said this at least 5 times,..,.. Kevin you need to put some more engine work into you 2 and then it will totally dominate the world In the mean time, you are a showboat Ricer ;0) HAHA j/k man. to the OP Beautiful car and i'm sure all would agree we are poud to have you on our board! KTHXBYE.

The same Kevin?
Wow. That's pretty sweet. I seen that the PO's name was Kevin, but I had no idea.

Original engine? Intake manifold says "Ceramics Power"...that's only on JDM engines. Clean car..just curious about that.

Hey it doesn't matter if its a strong engine or not. As long as its well put together. Your exterior looks pretty crisp to me and thats one of the key points for potential rides.
