Hey Matt,
Are you sure that the OEM SC teardrop wheels were original equipment on the Super Edition? I thought they came with a Momo variation. If they did come with stock wheels, I have one laying around you're welcome to have to refinish and use as a full size spare.

I think there is actually 6 in the UK.. and two in New Zealand. There was also one for sale in Canada w/o the stripes on it.. I"m assuming that this is yours since it seems to only have soe of the decals..
Those chrom looking things on the fender are factory option. They have two very dim LED light in them that light up when I turn my headlights on. They are to tell me where my fenders are so i can park better? Either way I like them on there.

I also have the OEM flare, the OEM trunk mat and the red trays underneath the seats. There are 5 in England and one is getting a 3rd gen 3SGTE swap...so basically they have only 4 now!!

I am 99.99% sure they all had the SC teardrops. They came with MOMO steering Wheel but not Wheels. Every other one that I have seen pictures of, has had the Teardrops on them. Thanks for the offer Canadam, I actually want 4 teardrops in new condition if I can find them. I know there are still 4 brand new ones available from toyota but at $550.00 a piece. LOL only if I had that much money. I know this because I am Toyota Parts Advisor. So if anyone out there has money, and wants 4 brand new Teardrops, there are only 4 left in the California warehouse. Go grab them!!

3] Order another intercooler cover so it's the original color (grey)
4] Pull the cusco strut tower bar off
5] Strip the pain off the red calipers
6] Get a set of Stock SC wheels refinished and mount it on

Everything else is stock including the fender markers and the red Super Edition floormats. I have already pulled of the gas padel cover that you see in the picture. The car came with that as well. I kept it on for so long because it says on it "MR2 the runabout spirit"!! that will stay in my collection of MKI memorabilia

Actually.. I believe the SE's came with different wheels than the standard Supercharger wheels as mentioned above.. but may have been just an additional option as I have see the SC wheels on them too.

Intercooler if available is probably going to cost you close to a grand new from Toyota if you can even get it.

The chrome fender things.. I have seen them before.. but never seen anything else mounted to them like mirrors.. Maybe they are deer whistles?.. lol!

I don't need the entire intercooler, just the plastic cover. And they are around $200 brand new.

The are no mirrors or anything else mounted on my chrome fender "lights". The lights point at the driver not the road.

You can just have my wheel as a fifth if you want. Makes a better spare than the space saver.

Yea.. the one guy is putting a 3sgte in.. the other is Mark Sink and the rest.. I'm not sure.. but they are on a website.. but maybe some of them don't own the cars anymore.

No idea what the name for those fender things are... but I do know they are stock and also came on a few standard edition MK1s also in Japan.. Actually, if you look super close at the old erebuni bodykit catalog it shows them on a black MK1 with the 627 kit and Feral in Austrailia has an 88 or 89 SC with them on and the side window visors.. I have some rare parts on my MK1 also like the rear view mirror visors that say Toyota on them and the side window visors, clip for road flare.. not the molded road flare panel.. but the clip that holds a flard that can be inserted into the blanking plate there on US cars on the pass. side..

That's a nice car man! Congrats on winning the showcase, you deserve it for sure. It's also nice to see another piece of Toyota history still on the road.

Can you or someone post a Special Edition options list or maybe a link for more info. I am curious to know what makes the MR2 SE an SE. Was there a reason for releasing it? I love car history!
