S2S Custom Clutch Lines. AW11 and SW20

We thought it was past time for someone to come out with a fully custom clutch line for the AW11 and SW20. Something with Function AND Form. Not only are these lines fully braided stainless steel lines with an inner teflon line, just like our fuel lines, and they will fix the typical spongy pedal feel when you press the clutch but we took it one step further. What sets them apart from the other run-of-the-mill clutch lines, other than the killer prices, is the availability of different colors. These lines are available in plain stainless or covered in a protective plastic coating in either: clear, smoke/black, blue, or red. Of course we use the same fittings that Toyota originally used (yes the super rare ones...) so you can be assured the lines are meant for your application. And each line is pressure tested to 3000psi to ensure they will hold up.

We are doing a special pre-buy sale. If you order between now and Sunday September 14, 2008 you will get 20% off retail. That's right!!!!! 20% OFF!!!. The colors are $5 more but we will knock 20% off that too for this pre-buy sale.

We have enough fittings for about 10 of each AW11 and SW20 coming in this week. If we sell more than that before the end of the sale we will still let you have it at the pre-buy price, you will just have to wait for the next shipment of fittings which should be about 3-5 business days. If we see that there is enough demand we will go ahead and order more fittings early this coming week so there won't be that much of a wait. Heres how to order:

Custom SW20 Stainless Steel Braided Clutch Line

Custom AW11 Stainless Steel Braided Clutch Line

Retail: $54.99
PRE-BUY Sale: $43.99 (20% off Retail)
Colors add $4.00 (20% off Retail)

And here's a picture of the MKII line with the clear coating on it. Note the fittings are exactly like OEM and will use the stock clips where available.

Here is a picture of the different color options:

We will have this for sale indefinitely. The only thing that will change after the 14th is the price. So don't think this is a one-time deal. We are here to serve the community.

Okay Pal, what color do you think I should get?
Black/Smoke?
Red?

Remeber, everything in/on my MR2 is either black or red. I am thinking red to offset the black of the engine & other hoses. What do you think?

BTW I will shoot you an e-mail hopefully tomorrow & see when you want me to pay you (heck I may just call ya), for I can wait till I see you again to get it (save on shipping).

Looks Awesome!
Guess I will have to spend a little of ALL this Over-Time I am getting thanks to the Hurricanes.

Daniel

I would say red also. It is kind of a darker reed anyways so it should match the "crimson red" of the car.

Just give me a shout whenever. If I don't answer just leave me a VM. I will get back to you. We have been at the hospital every moment we can with my wife's grandfather. Cerebral hemorrhage. Docs give him 10-12 more days with us.

You talking MKI or MKII? Either way we should be able to do that. It will be a one-off custom line. I will have to get a price worked up for you but it will be in the morning before I can do that. Then we can go from there. That work for you?

I just looked at the MKII bracket/slave cyl and it is doable. Looks like you can just move the bleed screw over to the slave itself too. I will get the quote for your line in the morning.

Here is a pic of the MK2 clutch slave bracket/ shifter cable bracket that I have off my 91T.

The arrow is where the stock rubber line goes. And the circle is where I can make the line go to so it bypasses the hardlines that go up to the slave cyl. If the line going to the bleed valve is busted also I am pretty sure you can just remove the valve and insert it into the slave itself and be ok. Not 100% on that as I did not try it yet though.

Donny, is this in the frunk or engine bay? I presume you need to bleed the system when you change it. What is the procedure? Thanks...Ken

Engine bay. It goes from the hardline on the frame under the drivers "butt area" (next to front torque mount) and the other end screws into the slave cyl/shifter cable bracket.

To bleed the clutch system you do just like you do with the brakes. It is easier to have 2 people, one doing the pedal work and the other doing the wrench on the bleed valve. I have done it more times than I care to remember by myself though. Just takes a long pole (jack handles do nicely) and ALOT of patients. It is super easy to do with 2 people though. There are even cool devices that allow just one person to bleed it.

Ahh... that one runs all the way to the front to the clutch master cyl. The only way to fix that is to either get some compression fittings and splice some new line on there or replace it all together.

Depending on where yours is broken we may can make up a replacement line with a compression fitting. That may be the easiest solution.
