Feeler: AW11 hydraulic frunk and engine lid prop kits.

As the title states, we are trying to get an idea if you guys want some hydraulic prop rod kits similar to our SW20 ones. We have prototyped the frunk kit and are currently working on the engine lid one. It should be done in a week.

To our knowledge no one makes an AW11 frunk prop kit. And we can go one better... we can offer them in plain black hydraulic rods or chrome for those of you that want the extra bling. If interested we can run a GB at a greatly reduced price.

On the engine lid props, they too will include everything needed to install on the car. We are working on finalizing the design this weekend and have them ready for production by next week.

Sounds cool, i wouldn't mind some chrome gas struts

I went to make one for my engine lid out of a junkyard gas strut and it just didn't work that well because i couldn't make a proper braket, so i've been thinking about getting a gas strut kit

About how much will the kit cost?

My mom always threatened to make us walk...

And one time SHE DID!!! She walked with us cause we were all pretty young, but still, the point was made. After walking for half an hour to 45 minutes to get home we started to listen better. You have to remember that when you're like 6, that feels like a death march

We finally got the material in late last week. Then this weekend I was tied up doing "honey-do's" and all so no time to work on the bracketry. I hope to have it done by this weekend. I know you guys are wanting these. Also good news, I can offer them in a total stainless steel, aka BLING, style too! The chrome fell through but I would rather have stainless anyways... less pain to keep clean.

Yep! But only for the 85-86 for the frunk as something changed on the 87+ to make it not sit flush when closed. They are on sale right now also. Be sure to check out our specials page.
