OEM wiring harnesses
Quick question for you: would you be able/willing to make an OEM engine harness for a 91T?
I know you guys mainly do custom harnesses for aftermarket swaps and all, but Toyota discontinued the engine harnesses; there's none in the states or Japan apparently. |

I could probably make something from scratch if need be. All of the plugs are still available from toyota, and I have many of the terminals. If there's a badly beaten or hacked 3sgte harness, I can certainly work from that. Even if it's from a celica.
Of course the most cost effective way to replace a 3sgte harness is to dig one up used. They aren't usually that expensive. |

Thanks for the fast response!
The thing is, I'm having a couple different problems with my wiring harness. There's an issue with the TPS, the water temp sensor, and the AC switch, and all have the circuit as a point in the diagnostics tree. I've already done a full check on the TPS circuit, and got lousy readings. I'm hesitant to get another used 91 harness since I don't want to get one just to have similar problems crop up again a little later due to age. Thoughts? |

One thing you could check, if the TPS and water temp issues are related, it may be some issue with your sensor ground circuit. Both of those sensors are grounded back on pin e2, which is on your 16pin plug to your ecu.
I'm guessing you've replaced both of these items? |

I've replaced the TPS, and the problem continued. I haven't replace the water temp sensor yet, I haven't been able to figure out exactly what kind it is. Talking to Aaron I found out there are a couple different types they used.
