We are excited to offer our SW20 Front Trunk Gas Charged Prop kits and SW20 Engine Lid Gas Charged Prop kits with STAINLESS STEEL (chrome look) prop rods. Here is a picture of the stainless rods next to the black rods.

We are running an initial group buy for these kits. We need at least 5 of each kit sold to make this happen. The time frame is as follows:

Orders taken: Dec 15 - Jan 9
Production/assembly: Jan 10 - Jan 16

You can put one per side if you like. But 2 per side would not be easily done.

Bmer89: Yes. They take like 15 minutes with hand tools to install a frunk kit and about 10 minutes for the engine lid one. You will remove a few bolts on the fender sides and replace with low-head ones and the attachment point for the frunk kit and the engine lid kit you remove 1 bolt and replace with a longer one. But detailed directions are included.

Ok guys, We have reactivated the SS sw20 frunk and engine lid kits with the special pricing. No coupons needed, no gimmicks. Go ahead and place your order via our online store.

Once we get the confirmed 4 orders paid we will go ahead and make the order for the material to make the kits. We do need a minimum of the 4 confirmed to pay for this happen. If we do not get the 4, we will refund your money in full or we can work out a differential payment for the difference for retail. I don't think we will have to do that though from the way you guys are talking.

Also, how do they compare to the ones offered at 2's R Us?

Does your engine lid prop mount from the drivers side or the passenger side?

We will run this through 1/9/11 and then place the material order on 1/10/11. The materials should arrive that week and we can assemble/ship the following week of 1/17/11. Of course if things move faster we will ship out before then.

As for comparing to others offered, I cannot say since we are the only ones that have Stainless Steel ones. Our engine lid prop is able to be mounted on either side of the bay.

The product pages on our site show the product installed. Those are the only pics we currently have.
