I'd like to announce a board promotion contest for September 2005 that starts today, August 23. In your user profile, there is a Referrer box to list the username of the person who referred you to the board. The winner of the contest will be the person with the most referrals in September 2005, as determined in the vBulletin Admin panel.

How to play

Simply refer people to www.mr2board.com.
Have them create a user account and list you as the referrer.
Have them post a welcome post in the Check-In area.
Have them make at least 4 more posts prior to the end of September. (5 total)

To find your userid number, go to the Memberlist (http://www.mr2board.com/forums/memberlist.php?), find your username, and click on it. Your userid number will be at the end of the URL. If you need help determining your userid number, please let us know.

The Rules

Must have at least 25 referrals to qualify for 1st place.
Must have at least 15 referrals to qualify for 2nd place.
Must have at least 10 referrals to qualify for 3rd place.
In the event of a tie, whoever qualified first would be the winner.
No users with multiple/fake accounts. IPs will be checked. They must be real users.
New users during that time are also allowed to compete.
Admins/Mods are not eligible.
No spamming other forums. Make sure you get permission first!

The Prizes

1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $50
3rd Place - $25

Well, the contest will be ending tonight. We had someone unknowingly take the lead by storm.

N8s93turbo, who didn't even know about the contest rocked over 20 referrals today.

mr2gurl4life is rocking 2nd place, with Dennis in 3rd. We just need 4 more users tonight to break into the 700s. I'll post the final results this weekend. Thanks for the support!

now are we certain the new users dont all live together and share a computer?

700 new users is pretty good...and considering if just 5 to 10% of them actually contribute thread info. thats 35 to 70 active. pretty successful I'd say.
