Oh my lord, that is terrible news to hear.
While I did not know them, it is always sad to hear of a life lost so early. They say only the good die young, but that never makes it any easier to deal with. I have a 20 year old daughter at home, I can not imagine what their parents are going through right now. My heart, prayers and condolences go out to their family and friends. For those who were privileged enough to know you, this world was a better place for them before your early departure. I truly hope life had treated you well before it was cut so short. May you rest in peace Benjamin Michael Borawski and Brian Shane Beebe. Last edited by wagonis; 01-06-2008 at 11:01 PM. |

thank you
I would like to thank who ever posted about Ben's passing. Him and the passenger Shane were friends of mine and it is very kind of you to have said something. He had just finished his car he had been working on for a long time. I know he didn't post very often but believe me he was on the forum everyday seeing what was new he loved this site. To everyone who posted in this thread thank you and everyone please be safe out there.

Condolences. May he RIP...
![]() I don't know the details as to why he would be driving so fast on a public road, but something to think about: If you think someone is going to be impressed by you driving like a nut on the street, then they are not worth impressing. -Scott |

RIP
Today is the day I pick up my MKII Turbo. This and a wreck I saw last Saturday night have firmly implanted the idea that I will take it easy out there till I have learned my car and to think of others as well. The public road is no place for an ego. |

Let this serve as a horribly tragic reminder of our mortality and a good reason to drive safely. Particularly in the company of those we love.
My condolances to family and friends. R.I.P. |

not sure if his tires were new, but seems like as good a time as any to remind people that new tires are slick for at least the first couple hundred miles. break em' in before you push em'.
RIP
