I just tried this on Celicatech and i get results.

But when I search here, for trouble codes. Using code 52 as my search terms, the board discards the 52 as too common or too short.

That is an important thing to be able to search. The 2 digit trouble codes are highly searched for solutions to.

Can you fix the boards "Search Index Minimum Word Length"

On my board I just set it to 0.

other people told me if you use quotations it works like "code 52" it will look for exactly that so you dont get "52" from 52 mph or 52 from someone posting their age 52 or something costing 52 cents.

Id like to think somewhere on the board the phrase "code 52" is listed.

Hell, it should have searched and found this thread.

I use the Google block on the CMPS page. http://www.mr2.com/vba_cmps.php After entering a search term, you have the option of limiting the search to the forums. It provides much better results than the vBulletin engine.

But the Vbulletin engine will find what you are looking for if you have it turned on.
