Site Question

I have a Hypethetical question for you .......

Let's imagine that I piss you folks off so freakin bad . I brake all of the rules and steal your first male born. You decide to ban me from the site (ALLSHOTUP). Would it not make more sense to NOT ALLOW me to make post but to ONLY READ all other posts ? Is this possible ? Here is my reasoning that may help this site succeed. Most of the time someone is banned from a site is because they are breaking the rules with a post ETC.... I have noticed that Mr2 people have been banned from other boards ( not exactly Mr2oc , just boards in general ). Then you hear people saying that they wanted to go back to the board for information or to check on a possible purchase. We'll we all know that money and advertisement is what makes things go around. If I was to be allowed to view ads , read information etc... Then I would be more apt to purchase materials from the persons that are advertising on your board .Then , I would be most certainly be helping the board . Corrrect ?

Is it possible to allow a banned member to have read access only ? If so , I think this would also help with the banned member from trying to log on in another screen name. I'm not Internet website savy but thought I would ask the people that are.

The board is publicly viewable so all they'd need to do is log out. We don't have any banned members and no plans to ban anyone. There are other far more effective methods in place.

I understand , thank you for the answer. I was working on my mom and dads house today and this struck me . If all of the people are complaining , I know that there is someone intelligent enough with website design that will allow people to access it and see it but not allow them to participate.
